Just shoot your own film? Give free rein to your creativity? No problem: with Abgedreht! Michel Gondry's Film Factory, the Deutsches Filmmuseum will be transformed into a workshop for film enthusiasts from 14 September 2017 to 28 January 2018. French director Michel Gondry has already been able to encourage people to become creative themselves with the Film Factory at twelve locations around the world. In small groups of five to twelve people, visitors plan and realize their own film project within three hours. All the tasks of the shoot are taken on by the group together. A short genre film is created, which afterwards goes into the growing archive of the Filmfabrik.
IMPORTANT: Every 45 minutes a new group starts. The earliest tour for school groups departs at 8:15 a.m. weekdays, and the earliest tour for individual visitors departs at 11:15 a.m. (weekdays). On Saturdays and Sundays the tour for individual visitors starts at 10:15 am. Those wishing to book the service with a closed group (for a fee) can start at 4:30 p.m. at the earliest on weekdays
