At the singing evenings with the Groß-Gerau music pedagogue and songwriter Wolfgang Hering and the retired music teacher, Lutz Weusmann, relaxed singing together is also the focus this evening. Previous knowledge is not required.
Singing connects people with each other and opens an access to their own voice. Along the way, singing strengthens the human immune system and supports the body and soul's capacity for well-being, transformation and vitality. That is why the singing evenings in the Groß-Gerau Kulturcafé are always a journey through personal emotions. At the same time, they are always a journey through music history and musical styles. After all, the repertoire that is sung there ranges from traditional German songs to pop classics and folk songs by Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Donovan, for example, to mega-hits of rock history.
