The Ortiz funeral home is facing a drama: The body of the ever-popular neighbourhood helper Sister Rose has been stolen from the coffin. Waiting in the institute's waiting room are some of Rose's former kids, who haven't seen each other in many years. This funeral service is a gathering of emotional people, deeply scarred by life, looking for a place to come to terms with their despair, their troubled pasts, and their uncertain futures. The characters in this dark yet extremely amusing comedy clash abruptly - motivated by anger, fear, pain and a shuddering desire to finally come clean - perhaps for the very first time in their lives. A scenic arch of images that touches, makes you laugh, but also makes you think.
