Part 2 of the New York anthology by Stephen Adly Guirgis "The Ortiz Funeral Home is facing a drama: the body of the ever-popular neighborhood helper Sister Rose has been stolen from its casket. Waiting in the institute's waiting room are some of Rose's former "children" who haven't seen each other in many years. At this funeral service, a number of emotional, severely life-scarred people meet, looking for a place to come to terms with their despair, their troubled pasts, and their uncertain futures. Among the uniformly comic ampersand tragic twelve characters, we meet, for example, Rooftop, a chronically faithless but popular L.A. disc jockey, who is trying to win back his old love; the incredibly angry Norca, who is happy to ignore the fact that she slept with her best friend's husband; and Inez, that best friend who is still suffering 15 years after the incident. The rest of the characters in this dark but extremely amusing comedy abruptly clash - motivated by anger, fear, pain and a shuddering desire to clear the air - perhaps for the very first time in their lives." - Stephen Adly Guirgis' next prank (following last season's hit production of "The Scumbag in the Hat") once again doesn't leave a dry eye in the house. It's a scenic arch of images that touches, makes you laugh and cry, but also makes you think. Directed by & German version: Alexander J. Beck With: Erik Barth, Alexander J. Beck, Sabrina Faber, Nelson van Heuvel, Alfredo Jost Lopez, Aniko Nagy, Jan Peter Nowak, Felix Ossoba, Luise Schlingmann, Bernd Schumann & Tanja Schumann
