Skampida is one of the basic groups of Bogota Ska. Since its inception in the late nineties, the group has solidified itself with an avant-garde proposal that knows no compositional boundaries. "Rebelation" is the fourth record production in 20 years of career, yielding enough material for international touring.
The album reveals the great musical growth of these musicians from their ability to unite different influences under one roof, which is nothing but their addictive ska. The recording was done at Rec Estudios with mastering by Christopher Hoppe-Thiele in the city of Bremen, Germany.
The power of the trombone, saxophone and trumpet assembles a series of festive and igniting rhythms. No two pieces are alike. The rocky vein that has been patented in Skampida throughout their existence remains.
