With Sleeping Beauty, the Chamber Music Association of the Hessian State Orchestra Wiesbaden, together with actress Chris Pichler, has developed a special Christmas concert: In the Kleines Haus of the Hessisches Staatstheater, they present a lively concert version of Peter Tchaikovsky's ballet music for Sleeping Beauty. The famous waltz in particular is one of the master's most popular compositions. The music is heard in a special version for brass ensemble (four trumpets, two horns, trombone and tuba).
