Spring at last! At Frankfurt Airport, Germany's largest airport, on March 27 under the name "Spring Awakening" the visitor attractions of the Airport will be celebrated with a big family event!
You can look forward to, among other things, the Visitor Centerin Terminal 1 with its many interactive stations. Here, you can expect impressive 360-degree installations, fascinating augmented reality applications and innovative stations to participate in. Thus, the visitor center combines the multimedia world of experience on 1,200 square meters of entertainment with interesting facts about one of the most important international air traffic hubs.
Specially for the "Spring Awakening" event, a photo station will also be installed there, where you can have your picture taken with the airport mascot Fluggi as well as his friends Peppa Wutz and Maya the Bee.
Among other things, smuggled goods can be admired at an airport customs booth. Interviews with the airport fire department, ramp agents and Follow Me employees - conducted by KiKA reporter Leontina Klein - will provide an exciting insight into the world of Frankfurt Airport.
There will also be a celebration at the popular Visitors' Terrace in Terminal 2. Here airport mascot Fluggi presents lots of fun for the kids celebrated: A bouncy castle, a roller slide, face painting for children and presentations with exciting details about aircraft and Frankfurt Airport will provide fun and entertainment there.
Also on this day, Fluggi will take you to the Airport Tours across the apron, where you will pass very close to the big planes. So you can expect a day full of fun, fascination and information at the "Spring Awakening" at Frankfurt Airport!

Parking:
Visitors arriving by car on this day will be offered 1 hour free parking for P2 and P3 parking lots in Terminal 1 and P8 and P9 in Terminal 2. Other parking areas are excluded from the promotion. Parking tickets will be discounted at the entrance to the Visitor Center and Visitor Terrace.*
