Stabil Elite from Düsseldorf combine glamour and cosmic transcendence. Their music is a tribute to the great era of the Kraut sound. The trio has internalized the heritage of their hometown - from Kraftwerk to Neu! or DAF - serious, synthetic, cool, elegant, but with sparkling pop-existentialist gesture and awareness of the now. Stabil Elite's first vinyl maxis were released on Chicago's underground techno label Mathematics. Their first album "Douze Pouze" was record of the week in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, as well as album of the month in the Musikexpress. The lyrics of singer Nicholas Szymanski are more dada than gaga, written in German. Besides the Kraut-Rock influence, the band's sound contains references to Disco, Ambient, Cosmic or even Surf-Pop compositions. Stabil Elite stand for nothing less than the sound of young Europe.
