Stanfour extend their tour for the current album "IIII" with additional four shows. Due to scheduling conflicts, this expanded eight-show tour will now take place in October instead of the initially planned four shows in March. Konstantin Rethwisch, singer of Stanfour: "We are very happy to celebrate the new album with our fans and friends, it will be a bit later now, but twice as many shows, we are happy to see our people then." Stanfour stand for melancholic pop, unaffected emotion and an irrepressible will to follow one's dreams. Also on their fourth album, simply titled "IIII", the five band members deliver songs with depth and strong melodies. Founded in 2004, Stanfour succeeds in creating a distinctive sound that can compete internationally. An opulent sound of their own, which the band has worked hard to achieve. "We grew up on Föhr. There's no question of whether you stay. You have to leave the island at some point if you want to make music professionally", Alexander tells. Keyword Los Angeles. From west coast to west coast, Stanfour created a creative environment for themselves over the years in LA, which is reflected in high-quality songs from "Wild Life" (2008) to "Rise & Fall" (2009) and "October Sky" (2012) to the current album "IIII". Stanfour hits like "For All Lovers," "Wishing You Well," "Life Without You" and even "Learning To Breathe" set the bar high, but "IIII" does not disappoint. Created on Föhr, in Los Angeles and Stockholm, Stanfour took three years this time until the feeling for the songs was right.
"IIII" was produced by Lars Stalfors. The American with Swedish roots, who previously traveled the world with indie bands like The Mars Volta, developed the right flair to tastefully implement the band's sonic ideas. However, the band can't be pinned down to album highlights. For each song on "IIII" is equally important and carries an individually inspired story of life.
