STAR WARS belongs on the big screen! Fans certainly agree on that. But what makes the movies a really special experience is when you see them with live orchestra accompaniment. Because the full sound of an orchestra gives the grandiose film music by John Williams a very special power, which not infrequently provides real goosebump moments. After STAR WARS in Concert made the original trilogy a real live experience, it now continues: with "The Force Awakens", one of the most successful films of all time, Episode VII joins the successful concert series of "Star Wars in Concert" as the beginning of the latest "Star Wars" trilogy.

More than 30 years after the glorious end of the original trilogy, the father of the saga, George Lucas, gave all rights to the "Walt Disney" film empire - a bang. With the new film studio, a new generation also entered the galactic playing field of star battles in "The Force Awakens" in 2015. In Episode VII, young Rey joins pilot Poe Dameron and Stormtrooper Finn on a quest to uncover the roots of her mysterious origins, which lead them into a rebellion against Supreme Commander Kylo Ren and his imperial reign of terror. The latter has fallen to the Dark Force through the grandfatherly legacy of Darth Vader and is under the spell of the sinister Snoke.

Oscar-winning composer John Williams also created the stunning score for the new trilogy. In February 2023, the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Ben Palmer, will bring this soundscape to life while the film plays on big screen, transporting the audience to a galaxy - far, far away...
