With "AQUOSTIC LIVE" - it rocks! Status Quo move out of their comfort zone after more than 50 years as one of the world's best hard rock bands. For the first time Francis Rossi, Richie Malone, Andy Bown, John 'Rhino' Edwards and Leon Cave will present their internationally acclaimed unplugged shows in 10 cities in Germany in autumn 2017.
So fans can look forward to carefully selected, reimagined Quo classics like "In The Army Now", "Hold You Back", "Roll Over Lay Down" or "Ice In The Sun" live in a new acoustic guise even without the trademark telecaster guitars.
The brand new album "Aquostic II - That's A Fact!" is the follow-up to the phenomenally successful "Aquostic (Stripped Bare)" album, which shot into the Top 5 in the UK (highest chart position for Quo in 18 years) and was decorated with gold records. The album was released on October 21 by earMusic/Edel and received rave reviews from the media.
Classic Rock magazine recently named "Aquostic" one of the best 25 acoustic albums in music history, writing, "Well-known classics shine in new splendor. Quo acoustic?
This works. Brilliant."
Now that Status Quo has announced that this will be their last electric tour in the wake of their 'The Last Night Of The Electrics Tour' through Europe, with 15 shows in Germany in November, it's time to look ahead. 'Aquostic' is the future of Status Quo.
"AQUOSTIC LIVE" - it rocks! will present fans with a generous collection of Quo classics in a new acoustic guise. This is the new sound of a band living in the present and developing the future while nurturing their own past.
