Dive into the world of steam trains
Maybe you remember when the great steaming railroads populated the rails of Germany and want to relive it? Or maybe you're so young that you didn't live to see the era of steam trains? Whatever the case, 183 years after the first railway journey in Germany, you can once again experience the fascination of steam up close in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
At the Steam Spectacular 2018, nostalgics will get their money's worth just as much as families, because in addition to the almost 50 journeys of various treasures from all eras of railway history, there is also plenty to experience off the rails. After all, what child's eyes don't light up when the giants from times long past drive loudly and puffingly into the stations? In addition, there are additional program points at various stations, which make the wait for the next ride entertaining fun.
