Stereo Total: entertainment music beyond majority taste, with anti-diva Françoise Cactus and Brezel Göring, the master of gentle exaggeration
How did it all begin, anyway? Surprisingly, it all started with a very strict set of rules (with every rule being broken at least once in the following years):
1. No instrument should cost more than 50 DM (about 25 Euro, by today's estimate)
2. Virtuosity should be avoided at all costs
3. Lyrics in all languages - except English
4. Stylistic influences from the record box at the flea market
5. Strict avoidance of anything that conforms to "contemporary taste"
6. Studio recordings that fall below the technical standard
7. No big record companies, but small labels run by music enthusiasts ...
