The 20th Anniversary Concert of the Phil Collins Tribute Band "Still Collins".
Since its formation in autumn 1995, Still Collins can look back on well over 1200 concerts played and celebrates 20 years on stage as the most sought-after Phil Collins and Genesis tribute band in Europe into autumn 2016.
This makes Still Collins one of the co-founders of a real tribute band culture in Germany, which has experienced a hardly comparable boom since its emergence in the 90s. Then as now: Even die-hard fans of the original find it hard to make out an acoustic difference between "tribute" and the "master" when Still Collins programmatically looks back at the complete musical palette of Phil Collins and Genesis music history.
At the same time, the band still has just as much fun on stage after 20 years as they did at their first concert. However, what started in a small music pub in Königswinter in front of 120 guests has long since developed into an internationally booked and renowned live act. Brilliant sound, elaborate lighting design, state-of-the-art LED video technology at many concerts - the band is well equipped for the next 20 years in absolute top locations.
On their anniversary tour, the band is offering special "20 +" anniversary concerts as a special treat for fans, with one or two surprises always planned in addition to the familiar "Best of Phil Collins and Genesis program".
On Aug. 26 in Dexheim, Still Collins will renew the accolade that was bestowed upon the band once before in 2009: For the second time, former Genesis singer RAY WILSON will join Still Collins on stage to perform Genesis classics. Ray Wilson replaced Phil Collins in Genesis in the mid-90s, recorded the album "Calling all Stations" with Genesis in 1997 and was on the microphone for the following world tour
