Since 2004, the Stalburg Theater always celebrates with their audience in the summer in a very special way: in the beautiful ambience of the Günthersburgpark, the Stalburg Theater Offen Luft, called stoffel for short, is celebrated.
stoffel brings its visitors for four weeks (almost) daily at 18 and at 20 clock music, cabaret, readings and theater, plus now legendary organic sausages, beer, wine, cider and other drinks - and all this with free admission! Thus, for four weeks, the Günthersburgpark becomes Frankfurt's most popular open air pub, which is becoming increasingly popular.
Today is Classic Prog'n'Roll on the stoffel program.
X-it ... the band that presents carefully hand-picked titles from the field of "Classic Rock". The five boys do this excitingly exciting and unexcited cool - and without any pathetic bombast, but at the same time with an irrepressible joy of playing, which is immediately transferred to the audience at every performance
Besides classics of "Saga" and "Queen", of "Pink Floyd" and "Manfred Mann's Earthband" - garnished with hits of further interpreters of this brilliant era - like "David Bowie" and "Huey Lewis" and many more. the five gentlemen serve the highlights of "Peter Gabriel" such as "Solsbury Hill" and "Sledgehammer" as well as "Genesis" hits like "Land Of Confusion" and "Invisible Touch".
X-it presents top-class progressive classic rock in a cheeky, fresh, unused way, sometimes rocking-fat, sometimes more ethno-soft oriented, but always original and with a lot of fun for the audience.
