STU LARSEN has no home. In 2010 he made the decision to leave all 'normality' behind, all security and luxury. He decided to live as simply as possible and follow what comes his way. A bold move perhaps, but a necessary one, as more and more he felt trapped in an oppressive daily routine while dreaming of being on the road. Often enough since then, Stu has been labeled with terms like "vagabond," "gypsy," and "troubadour," but he seems to welcome everything he encounters with open arms. Since leaving his small, quiet hometown in Queensland, Australia, he's been on the road: touring his music, recording songs on and off, driving his friends' tour van, and doing just about anything that allows him to keep moving. In this way, he has already traveled through Australia, New Zealand, Japan, England, Europe and North America. In other words, this man has really been around. And also a true archetype of the folk songwriter who also likes to just sit down with friends to spontaneously play a few songs.
