The interactive radio play by the group Arty Chock is based on the material of the performance Money Talks - In the Shadow of the Towers, which was performed at studioNaxos in 2014. The audience becomes part of an abysmal story, which they experience from the perspective of the main character, a washed-up private detective. Whether leaning back with a glass of bourbon in the bar of the Naxoshalle or armed with their mobile phone outside on the dark streets of Frankfurt's Ostend: Money Talks is a foray through Frankfurt's "underworld", guided by the promises and phantasms of money, in search of a truth that threatens to get lost somewhere in the depths of the glass. And outside, as always: the city at night. An accumulation of filth and immorality, a single human abyss, so black that the light of the street lamps and the cold glow of the neon sign are swallowed by the darkness after only a few meters.
