After graduating from high school or secondary school, young people have countless options. The free Stuzubi careers fair for school pupils on Saturday, September 12, 2020, will show what these can look like in concrete terms for the first time at Messe Frankfurt - Forum. At the event, young people and their parents can from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. find out in person about bachelor's degree programs, dual study programs and apprenticeships, or even learn about programs for stays abroad and volunteer services. Free service activities will support students in their applications and career choices. Admission is only possible with a valid ticket, due to the existing hygiene concepts.
At the student fair Stuzubi for Rhine Main, universities, companies and institutions from the region and throughout Germany are represented. Exhibitors include, for example, Deutsche Lufthansa, Oberfinanzdirektion, Bundespolizei, Kita Frankfurt and Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Two weeks before the fair date, the complete list of exhibitors will be published on the Internet at stuzubi.de/frankfurt.
Stuzubi service actions: Who belongs to the approximately 30 percent of all high school graduates, who would like to go abroad after school, can get professional and neutral advice about programs for stays abroad at the Stuzubi in Frankfurt. Eurodesk, an organisation funded by the EU and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), which supports young people in gaining international experience, will be there as a cooperation partner with a stand. In addition, young people receive free tips on career orientation and on how to design their application documents. The prerequisite for this is that the documents are printed out and brought to the fair.
Stuzubi orientation test: Those who do not yet know which path they want to take after school or are looking for exhibitors that match their interests can take the Stuzubi orientation test at stuzubi.de/orientierungstest. In less than five minutes, the test shows students study and training opportunities that match their personality type. Exhibitors with suitable offers are colour-coded in the fair plan and fair magazine and can thus be found at a glance.
Special features in 2020: Due to increased requirements as part of the corona-related hygiene concepts, all participants must present a valid ticket at the entrance this year. Bookings are accepted via stuzubi.de/frankfurt "Secure free ticket", this also applies to friends, parents and siblings. Availability is limited.
Germany's first digital career guidance fair
In order to be able to support students in their career and study choices even in the corona crisis, Stuzubi was the first provider to develop a completely digital trade fair concept for career guidance in spring 2020. At "Stuzubi Digital", young people will be able to make direct contact with trainees, students and recruiters from companies and universities during live presentations and via (video) chat online from home. "With Stuzubi Digital, we have hit the nerve of the times. This will last beyond the crisis," says project manager Jack Marschall. The next dates of Stuzubi Digital will be published soon at stuzubi.de.
