With its SUMMER IN THE CITY series, the Mousonturm is once again bringing top-class culture to the summer ambience of the Music Pavilion in the Palmengarten. Today, a reading by Wolf Haas is on the program. He will read from the latest book around Simon Brenner, the former inspector of the Austrian police.
On one of Vienna's garbage tips (dt.: recyclables collection center) strict order prevails, until one day a human knee is found in the bulky waste tub. Other body parts quickly turn up in other tubs, all of which have been thrown in incorrectly, contrary to the rules of the dump and to the great chagrin of the garbage men. Only the heart of the dismembered corpse is missing. The Kripo does not know further. Fortunately, among the garbage men is an ex-colleague who not only finds the missing heart along with the accompanying letter, but also never forgets what one has to consider when committing murder. And thus Simon Brenner is not only in a new case, but also up to his neck in trouble.
The event takes place in all weathers. Access only through the entrance in Palmengartenstraße. No seating.
