Dota Kehr, street musician-tested as the "small change princess", has not lost a fingerbreadth of her artistic freedom in all the years of her musical career. Poetically and clearly, at the same time witty and socially critical, she brings up explosive topics such as environmental destruction, flight and consumption, but also her own fears and longings - sometimes mysteriously melancholic, sometimes exuberantly cheerful. Musically, Dota and her band of the same name, consisting of Jan Rohrbach, Janis Görlich and Jonas Hauer, cannot be pigeonholed. With "No Danger", the list "Jazz, Folk, Bossa Nova, Pop ." must be expanded by one term, because on the current album they give their songs an electronic sound: with driving beats and artificial sounds, above which Dota's unmistakable singing voice stands like a rainbow over a volcanic eruption.
