Whether neo-punk, rock, pop, jazz or classical crossover, there is hardly a musical genre that the British pop titan STING, aka Gordon Sumner, has omitted in his long musical career. The multiple Grammy winner has been a constant guest in the worldwide charts since his first hit single Roxanne from 1978.
The band Sumner's Tales has been dedicated to the musical work of this exceptional musician for over 15 years now. Since then, the charismatic Frankfurt singer Herdan Dachroth has been leading the band's program with interesting anecdotes. In countless concerts throughout Germany, the band has been able to prove its amazing closeness to the original. In addition to Dachroth's unmistakable voice, Thomas Langer (guitar), Ralph Layher (bass), Anselm Wild (drums) and Stefan Weilmünster (keys, sax) impress with their musical stylistic diversity. The repertoire of the band includes almost all hits from Sting's different creative phases.
