In the Tower of Babel, in ideal cities of the late Middle Ages up to American modern times, designs of new worlds can be found. Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Speer and Walt Disney worked feverishly on the axes of their new orders. For centuries, systems and calculations were created on drawing boards to produce ideal proportions and relationships. But at some point, what has to happen, happens: In the Super-Quadra 67 building complex, Oskar N. begins to make architectural improvements. Little by little, the building mutates. "SUPERQUADRA" turns the chronicle of the conversion into a science fiction film on stage. In a mash-up with past visions, the performance tells a story of the end of architecture. F. Wiesel, storytellers*, space-constructors* and winners* of the Ponto Performance Prize 2018, can be seen for the first time at the Mousonturm.
