Music for 18 Musicians is a dance concert of superlatives: 150 dance enthusiasts have accepted the invitation of Sylvian Groud and Remi Durupt to try themselves out under guidance while listening to the music of Steve Reich. In preparatory rehearsals, they have been introduced to this pulsating hypnotic work, discovering the power and possibilities that bodies, movements and looks can possess. They become a link between musicians and audience, creating a collective musical experience where no one knows who is privy and who is simply swept along by the unique energy.
