20 years after their first release, Tanzwut continue their musical journey with their now 11th studio album Seemannsgarn. The band has developed steadily and within the last year 13 new songs were created, which look deep into human abysses, fears and joys, where truth and fiction blur. With Seemannsgarn they present a wide musical variety. From ballads to hard German rock songs under the influence of different musical styles, everything is represented. The bagpipe as a trademark may not be missing, as well as the medieval elements that have always characterized the music of the band. The classic rock instruments are complemented by instruments such as the cittern and the bandoneon. The German lyrics open a window into the deep soul of man and the devil. The songs stir emotions and make us dance and sing along.
