The Taunus Street Festival, conceived in 2003 as a marketing measure for business owners and restaurateurs in Taunus Street by local resident Michael Müller, has long since made a name for itself as one of the most beautiful and popular street festivals in the state capital.
At the beginning of September, everything is set up for hospitality for ten years now by the initiative "In der Taunusstraße e.V." and its board and fellow campaigners. On a length of nearly 300 meters the red carpet is rolled out annually to the Taunusstraßenfest, on which the visitors can stroll and rummage in the special offers of the stores or indulge in various palate joys at the festively covered tables. Uniform white pavilions and background music throughout the festive mile complete the presentation as a special place. A varied stage program with live music, show acts, children's program and cultural performances also promise pure entertainment for the whole family.
