What do fabrics do to us when they envelop us? What do we do with them? How do they touch us? How do we touch them? Between installation and performance, the interdisciplinary production TextureBodyTexture sees itself as a homage to the sense of touch and, wrapped in sounds, becomes directly tangible for the audience.
In front of its eyes and around their bodies, cascades of images emerge, between the inanimate and the animate, between geometry and phantasm. Skin and fabric, brought into shape, held in place by bone and muscle, themselves form a texture of movement, creating space for imagination: one moment moving sculpture, a river of fabric, the next abstract landscape or amorphous being?
