Over the past four years, Anton Newcombe has released three highly acclaimed The Brian Jonestown Massacre albums and an EP, as well as a full soundtrack and a collabo album with Tess Parks. Two LPs are planned for 2018 at once: the first will be released on June 1, titled "Something Else", and will hit the shops of the world as a white 180g vinyl. The nine songs were recorded and produced at Anton Newcombe's Cobra Studio in Berlin. The style of "Something Else" is less experimental compared to recent records, instead drawing on the band's traditional sound. The second, self-titled record is expected to be released in September this year.
In summer/fall The Brian Jonestown will enter German stages again with the new album "Something Else" in their luggage.
