No music festival without a quartet of critics! At the end of the two-week intensive examination of Ligeti's "Atmosphères", the floor again goes to a squad of experts who keep track of the permanently expanding field of new CD releases: The quartet of critics is recruited from the circle of more than 150 music critics in Germany, Austria and Switzerland who have joined forces in the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" (German Record Critics' Award) to review and evaluate new recordings every quarter - completely independently of the interests of the music industry. This time, their ear is turned to recordings of the music festival "Atmosphères", their special features, their qualities, their differences. A final live listening impression of the work follows: In the final concert of the Musikfest, "Atmosphères" can be heard once again - interpreted by the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.
