The Fritz Remond Theater invites you to dance class. The play by Mark St. Germain is full of humor, heart and warmth - just the right thing for this time of year! And that's what the play is about:

Ever Montgomery has to learn to dance for an awards ceremony. Not too difficult a task, really, if he didn't abhor physical contact. Ever is autistic, in conversations he usually takes everything literally, he has to laboriously decipher the facial expressions of those around him, and he has organized his everyday life according to strict rules. This regulated life is now being violently disrupted, because he has chosen his neighbor Senga Quinn as his dance teacher - a recommendation from the janitor. Senga, however, has her own problems: After an accident, it's doubtful whether her broken leg will ever heal enough for her to work as a dancer again. So the mood is rather testy when Ever asks his neighbor for lessons, especially since empathy is foreign to him in view of her bleak career prospects, and Senga initially misunderstands the absurdly high fee as an immoral offer. Over the course of a few weeks, the disparate dance partners grow closer - perhaps even closer than either would have ever imagined. Mark St. Germain has written a touching and funny play about a mismatched couple who struggle to keep the same beat, but learn much more important things about each other and themselves over the course of their dance lessons.

Tickets for this "dancing lesson" are available from € 19.00 by phone. (069) 43 51 66
