For the third time by now the dark tenor opens the gates to his realm. Already on the gold-enhanced debut album "Symphony Of Light" four years ago, the nameless singer fascinated listeners with his extraordinary crossover of classical and pop. An atmospheric head-cinema mix, which he refined even further on his 2016 follow-up "Nightfall Symphony" and at the same time inspired a whole new, young audience for classical music with the campaign #KLASSIKISTGEIL. On "Symphony Of Ghosts", The Dark Tenor continues his mission in a surprising way: After the formerly completely masked phantom revealed a little more of himself with each album, the trained opera singer now completely lifts his mysterious mask to reveal himself to his fans today completely unveiled. His very personal confession to himself, which is also reflected within his music. A kind of self-cleansing and maturing process, in which the singer now faces the past, so that he can start a new chapter in his creative work.
On "Symphony Of Ghosts", The Dark Tenor processes his private memories and experiences of the past years, which he defines as ghosts. "Each ghost has a different color. Depending on what emotions it's connected to and how strong the memory still is. At some point, all these myriad colors merge into one big symphony." The album is characterized by epic sounds that fuse pop and rock music. At the same time, the charismatic singer remains true to his instantly recognizable sound.
With his "Symphony Of Ghosts" in tow, The Dark Tenor and his live band will embark on an extensive tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2019.
