Her diary has been translated into more than 70 languages and is one of the most widely read books in the world.
Anne Frank wrote about all that she experienced and moved her from the back house of 263 Prinsengracht in Amsterdam, where she hid from the Nazis with her family for two years, starting in 1942.
On 4. August 1944, the Gestapo invaded the back house and all eight people in hiding were arrested and taken to labor and death camps.
Anne Frank gives us a testimony of her time with her diary "Kitty" that allows for a special way of remembering. The honesty of her texts, but especially the hope and love of life that speak from them, shake deeply - yet we know with every line that this young woman will be murdered by the Nazis.
Actress Marlene-Sophie Haagen and musician Vassily Dück follow in Anne's footsteps with "The Diary of Anne Frank," recounting her fears, worries and desires.
