THE DIRTY NIL take an extremely dedicated approach to their music: The trio releases their songs primarily on singles, split singles, 10'' format EPs, cassettes, and even four lathe-cut singles, where each record is individually cut instead of pressed. All limited edition collectibles and lovingly made - great, pretty rare and unfortunately widely scattered.
So high school friends, guitarist and vocalist Luke Bentham, bassist Dave Nardi and Kyle Fisher on drums, decided to collectively put eleven of these tracks on one record: "Minimum R'n'B" will be released at the end of April with an unreleased track, the complete "Smite" EP and some singles.
Of course, this has to be celebrated really loud! And because THE DIRTY NIL like nothing better than being on stage and letting loose at their wild shows anyway, the Canadians are coming back on tour this spring to perform the old songs (and of course those from their album "Higher Power", released last year) live.
