To this short denominator the Musikexpress brought what the gentlemen Ramin Bijan, Gunther Osburg, Maurice Summen, Chris Imler, Markus S. Fiedler and Andreas Spechtl had recorded on their new record "Exoterik!" for the Staatsakt label. There was also talk of a "synthesis of the arts of Krautrock, Techno and Postpunk", of a "freaky magnum opus of 19 tracks" that Die Türen "have conjured out of the hat." On the triple vinyl, the Berliners devote themselves to topics such as "World Dog Day", the "Fiesta Antifa", the "Rave Regime", linger in the "Gasthof zur Eisenbahn" and at "Lake Angela", to finally confess "I am a crisis" with "self-evidence". Fellow artist Hendrik Otremba ("Tilebad's Legacy") summed it up this way: "Like lived situationism." Sometimes it sounds like a somewhat noisy rehearsal room recording of the most accomplished band in the world, and the next moment it sounds like an HD studio production of the Genialen Dilletanten (sic!), traipsing between techno and suicide chug, between Berlin bohemian discourse pop and Sun Ra, between stoner dream and rock number.
