The appeal of the play in terms of content: the audience can make a reference from the life situation, the small world told here, to the much larger contexts of world events (refugee problems, exploitation and abuse). The center of this small world is the China-Vietnam-Thai fast food restaurant "The Golden Dragon". Here, in the tiny kitchen between gas stoves, a young Chinese man without a residence permit has a terribly painful incisor pulled out with a pipe wrench. And this tooth ends up in the mouth of a stewardess, regular customer at the fast food restaurant, on the way of a Thai soup...
Everything is connected to everything. What do a cricket, two arguing couples and a young Chinese man with no residency permit have in common? Where is that damn tooth and who is actually who here?
