Every day, many expectations pour in on us. Everyone wants something from us. We are supposed to be so and so, have to do this and that, so that "it" works. But what exactly is supposed to work and how, and what expectations do I have of myself, of my life?
The participants in this project, young mothers and refugee women, consider what they would be like if they could grow up, become adults and grow in protected and optimal conditions. With the means of theatre, with music and film, they create a "greenhouse" with optimal conditions.
Verena Specht-Ronique is already working for the fourth time with the Verein zur beruflichen Förderung von Frauen e.V. on a theatre project, this time with participants of the group part-time training for young single mothers and participants of the course "Ankommen-Weiterkommen: Vocational Orientation for Young Refugee Women". As an integral part of the training, the theatre work enables the women to discover and develop their potential. At the same time, new spaces of experience are offered, which teach important skills for professional and private life and open up a better chance for an independent and self-determined future.
