As "Krawallkunst" they call their music themselves. And indeed, a categorization is difficult. Because the trio "The Hirsch Effekt" from Hannover produces a wild crossover that moves somewhere between indie rock, progressive metal and emocore. No limits are set with their music and so they convince with their uniqueness and creativity.
Not only classical instrumentation, but also trombones, horns, clarinets and harps provide a distinctive sound. They bring all of this together to create what they simply call rock music. Their music gives you goosebumps and at the same time is so beautiful that it carries you away. They performed at over 100 concerts within a year and a half and quickly made themselves many fans. Their fast and big success is impressive - and also deserved.
In the mixture of genres they undertake, they are unique in Germany. This is set somewhere between Mr. Bungle, The Mars Volta, Blumfeld and At The Drive-In. And anyone who is compared to such greats, their skills no longer need to be questioned.
