The Dutch folk duo "The Lasses" brings old songs to new life. Sophie Janna and Margot Merah have already made a name for themselves as "The Lasses" both inside and outside the Netherlands. The musicians love to sing songs with a good story, whether bluegrass or ballad and regardless of whether the story is set in the Appalachians, on Scottish highlands or in Irish hills. Their voices are of very different timbres and complement each other perfectly to form a harmonious whole.
