The Layover is hitting the road in 2018 - this time to the enchanting urban Spanish capital - Madrid. The whole thing takes place at the Gibson for the Dance into May on Monday 30/04/2018, to really escalate on the eve of the holiday.
Madrid, one of Europe's largest metropolitan regions with a population of around 7 million, is vying with New York for the title - The City That Never Sleeps - for a reason. Because anyone who has been to both cities will have to admit that the Spaniards are definitely "muy loco" and have a party stamina like no other. This vibrant city is also known for dazzling toreros, wild fiestas and full-blooded flamenco dancers, among other things.
This is the theme of the shared evening with an exclusive debut from Madrid-born local hero, DJ and producer - Fönk. With an expertise of more than 15 years, he has played all over Spain at the hottest events and has also stood alongside legendary artists such as DJ Jazzy Jeff or the current TOP 10 singer - J.
