Five teams (70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s) meet for the "Battle of the Decades". In five preliminary rounds, the singers who have registered in advance for the Battle will represent their decade with one song each. It doesn't matter if you're a karaoke pro, an undiscovered pop starlet, a long-haired cowboy or a shy singing talent who has only dared to sing in the shower: You are the team, the team is you! The decade your song is from determines which team you're on!
Accompanied by the live karaoke band (Boris Werth - guitar & keyboards, Thorsten Kolotzek - bass, Johannes Aeppli - drums, Henrick Clausing - moderation), whose extensive song list guarantees a wide stylistic range: Be it 90s grunge anthems, hard rock smashes from the 70s, indie dance gems from the 2000s, NDW classics from the 80s or just current pop hits. The audience decides by applause which two teams will compete against each other in the grand final, where the big showdown of the evening will take place. Which team will win the "Battle of the Decades"? Attractive prizes await the winning team!
