Some people might get a kick out of the fact that "The Oh!chestra" have been on stage for 11 years as "The OhOhOhs" with a mix of electric piano, sampling, drums and percussion. Their performances are legendary, especially in their hometown Frankfurt. In the meantime, the two Florians - the studied pianist Wäldele with his surname, the percussionist Dreßler - have developed a desire for something different. It should become more chamber-musical and so they created "The Oh!chestra". They wanted to expand their possibilities: to work with guest musicians and to deal with classical music in a way that sounds right to them. The results are called "Floating Schubert" or "Partita Tech". They mix dance beats with the original works of the great classical composers, completely without barriers in their heads.
Gregor Praml has two guests sitting on the couch for the first time for the LOKAL Listener for the conclusion before the summer break. But, as Detlef Kinsler of the Journal Frankfurt said so well about them, "The Oh!chestra sounds like one as a duo."
