For the first LOKAL Listener in the new year, Russian accordionist Vassily Dück comes to the Mousonturm. He and Gregor Praml have a long friendship, which they have been able to deepen musically, especially as members of the internationally acclaimed ensemble Mi Loco Tango. Together they are prize winners of various competitions - among others at "Creole - Prize for World Music from Germany" and at the Astor Piazzolla Festival in Lanciano, Italy, where they were able to personally inspire the widow of the Tango Nuevo master Astor Piazzolla and at the same time jury president of the competition with their tango playing.
After the tango project came to an end, however, it was far from over for Dück and Praml. Again and again their paths crossed in the past years. Be it for joint productions at various theatres in Germany or joint stage appearances as a duo. This time Vassily Dück is Gregor Praml's guest at The LOKAL Listener to talk about his beginnings at the Siberian conservatory with Vodka and the fastest bumblebee flight on the accordion among the students.
