From the art of transformation from the BLACK CROWES to THE MAGPIE SALUTE.
RICH ROBINSON, co-founder of the BLACK CROWES, their main songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, brings together guitarist MARC FORD and bassist SVEN PIPIEN, two more BLACK CROWES band members. Based on the spirit of the CROWES, the reboot succeeds as THE MAGPIE SALUTE.
The 10-piece band is completed by drummer Joe Magistro, keyboardist Matt Slocum and guitarist Nico Bereciartua, as well as lead singer John Hogg (Hookah Brown, Moke), former Crowes vocalist Charity White, and additional background singers, Adrien Reju and Katrine Ottosen.
NFollowing the announcement of the first debut shows in New York in January 2017, absolute euphoria broke out among Crowes - fans. THE MAGPIE SALUTE is the reunion of the ROBINSON / FORD guitar team that came to an end in 1997 when FORD left the BLACK CROWES.
THE MAGPIE SALUTE are coming to Europe for the first time in July to introduce themselves. Without exaggeration, we can already say that this will be one of the concert highlights of 2017.
