The Theater-AG "SpielWerk" of the Dreieichschule Langen after Michael Ende
When Bastian escapes one day from a few children from his class to the antiquarian bookshop of Karl Konrad Koriander and takes from there the mysterious book "The Neverending Story", his life changes abruptly.
In the book, he learns about the realm of Phantasia and its mistress, the Childlike Empress. The realm is in great danger, as the Childlike Empress is suffering from an unexplained illness. She tasks the boy Atréju with finding a cure for the mysterious void and her illness. He sets off on a long and perilous journey.
Once again, the theatre group "Spiel/Werk" of the Dreieichschule Langen, under the direction of Ms Katrin Aurich, has impressively adapted a children's classic for the stage with the young adult novel by Michael Ende.
