lorian Wäldele (piano) and Florian Dreßler (drums) create something extraordinary, if not epochal: a chamber music ensemble that helps classical music on analog instruments back into the future via the detour of electronic reorganization. In other words: band becomes chapel becomes band, club becomes concert hall becomes club, disco becomes festival becomes disco.
For eleven years, the duo The OhOhOhs had already stirred up the underground of their hometown Frankfurt am Main and, thanks to spectacular live performances, caused a sensation far beyond the regional electro scene. But then they decided to take a radically broader path: OhOhOhs became Oh!chestra and out of that again the band with the claim to rock stages hypermodern with the repertoire of the old masters.
Too complicated? In the conception of the debut album with the slightly irritating title "Four Hands", yes. Not at all when it comes to listening pleasure.
