In 2017 the Ruffcats enter the tenth year of their band history. For that, they've got their work cut out for them. They have long since left behind the attribute "Backing Band", as the name "The Ruffcats" is now a brand of its own. When it comes to combining funk, soul and hip-hop into a sound of their own, this Berlin band is no match for anyone else. They have proven this on their instrumental records "The Essende Vol. 1-3".
Currently, however, not only new instrumental music is being created in the Ruffcats' studio. The 8 guys from Berlin are writing, polishing and producing an album with self-written lyrics.
