Chicago's The Skull have released a track from their brand new album, which will be released this fall by Tee Pee Records. The single is the title track from the new album, 'The Endless Road Turns Dark'. Joined by vocalist Eric Wagner and bassist Ron Holzner, formerly of the legendary Trouble, The Skull create Black Sabbath-esque doom with a psych tinted metal vision. Also on board are guitarist Lothar Keller of Dawn/Divinity Compromised, Brian Dixon of Cathedral and Witch Mountain guitarist Rob Wong.
The Endless Road Turns Dark will be the follow-up to The Skull's 2014 debut 'For Those WHo Are Asleep' - which garnered great attention from critics and is now beloved by fans. Undoubtedly, tracks from the new album will make an appearance on the tour setlist, alongside earlier numbers and some Trouble classics.The Endless Road Turns Dark sounds like a natural yet majestic progression from Trouble's 20+ year experience, and definitively cements The Skull as modern doom metal supremacy.
