Eternally long ago, the devil's mirror shattered, and still countless shards swirl through this world. A nice boy, Kay, is hit in the heart and eye by 2 shards and has been cold and bitter ever since. He follows the Snow Queen to her icy kingdom. But his friend Gerda wants to win him back. Bravely, she heads north and must now endure many a strange and dangerous adventure. But she is undaunted and eventually succeeds in finding Kay and freeing him from the Snow Queen's power.
