In their native Canada, this band is generating quite a bit of buzz right now, with music magazine critics gushing with praise. Are Le Trouble from Montreal possibly the new Arcade Fire? Are they emulating the stars? Are they Canada's new alternative hope? In any case, their indie pop has a lot of power, a lot of drive. The songs are fidgety, the vocals have expression, there's a nice hint of hyperactivity, synthesizers bring a touch of electronics into play. The five-piece band is now celebrating the German release of their album "Making Matters Worse" with a small tour. They actually met in an advertising agency, where they composed jingles for strawberry and chocolate shower gel.
