Today: Lent
In the series Thing and Transcendence, art scholarship, philosophy, and theology enter into conversation about sacred objects: The origins and meanings of "things," their material value and technical sophistication, and their uses, but also how they became signs of divine presence. For each event, individual objects from the collection of the Cathedral Museum or the Cathedral will be selected and examined up close.
