Saukomisch, sexy, sächsisch - in short: Thomas Nicolai. Anyone who has seen the lively blond entertainer live knows why he is also called the man of 1000 voices. The Berlin chameleon . pardon, the Berlin comedian with the Saxon soul amazes and enchants his audience again and again with breathtaking versatility. With his current program URST Thomas Nicolai is now back on the stages of the Republic on the road - diaphragm and eardrum stimulation guaranteed. Familiar to TV audiences from appearances on TV Total, Neues aus der Anstalt, Nightwash and Quatsch Comedy Club, Thomas Nicolai presents himself in his stage shows as a true "multicultural" of comedy culture. In the flying change the master of the elevated nonsense gives the comedian, the moderator, the actor, the singer, the dancer . Thomas Nicolai is 1000-in-one (all in the price, of course). In keeping with this tradition, the new show URST is a witty and witty mix of comedy and music acts - URST-diverse, URST-multi-layered, URST-funny.
And international. The musical warm-up is provided (for the first time on the show!) by the electro duo Traffic Noir from Belgium. Later, things get really French with the performance of the charming chansonette Madame Giselle. With fiery flamenco rhythms, Thomas Nicolai finally tap-dances his way into the depths of the desperate taxpayer psyche, and with cheerful ethno sounds he delivers the perfect soundtrack for everyday catastrophes like the inevitable visit from relatives. As special guest, Thomas Nicolai welcomes his new friend Joschi, whom he picked up at the Wiener Trödel. Joschi, the ventriloquist's dummy, is unconditionally devoted to the artist and a willing conversation partner on lonely hotel evenings - at least that's the idea . Also making their first appearance on the show are pop legend David Bowie and singer-song writer Philip Poisel. But it's not just lovers of new-age music who will get their money's worth, opera lovers who have to contend with the pitfalls of modern times will also be well catered for on URST . psst, more will not be revealed here. In addition to many new additions, URST features numerous old acquaintances. Die-hard Nicolai fans can look forward to Buletti, the philosopher of the proletariat. Also not to be missed is the showcase axis and sweater wearer Patrick Schleifer, who rocks the hall together with his brother Ronny (and, if you'll pardon the pun, AC/DC into the ground). Also back again: pharaoh of pampering Max Raabe and - you can be curious until your pants burst - erotic queen Carmen. Whoever says Carmen - nothing new for connoisseurs - must say Robert Neumann. The cool keyboardist provides, as proven, the essential musical sidekick in the show. With a legendary poker face and virtuoso fingers, Robert Neumann wrests complete symphony orchestras, five-piece rock bands and, if need be, even Peruvian pan flute ensembles from the keys of his synthesizer (needless to say, in addition to the numerous singers and actors, all musicians are included in the ticket price). But what, the non-Saxon may have been wondering all along, does "urst" actually mean? Quite simply, "urst" means . oh my! Go in, see the show and have URST fun!
